Product Overview
The working principle of the oval gear flowmeter is that the liquid pushes a pair of oval gears to rotate. The volume of each cavity is fixed. As the gears rotate, the sensor emits synchronous pulse counts. The rotation of the oval gears is transmitted to a counter via a magnetic seal coupling and a transmission deceleration mechanism, directly indicating the total flow passing through the flowmeter. If a signal transmission device is added, and paired with an electronic display instrument, remote transmission of instantaneous flow or cumulative flow can be achieved.
It is mainly used for measuring high-viscosity media and is widely applied in industries such as petroleum, petrochemicals, natural gas, chemicals, and papermaking. It is suitable for measuring micro-flow rates in small-diameter pipes.
