Overview
The smart electromagnetic flowmeter is an inductive instrument for measuring the volumetric flow rate of conductive media. Based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, a pair of detecting electrodes are installed on the pipe wall perpendicular to the measuring tube axis and the magnetic field lines. When the conductive liquid moves along the measuring tube axis, it cuts the magnetic field lines, generating an induced electromotive force. This electromotive force is detected by the two electrodes, and its magnitude is proportional to the flow rate.
In addition to measuring the volumetric flow rate of general conductive liquids, it can also be used to measure the volumetric flow rate of strongly acidic, strongly alkaline corrosive liquids and uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspended liquids such as slurry and paper pulp.
It is widely applied in industrial sectors including petroleum, chemicals, metallurgy, light industry, papermaking, environmental protection, and food, as well as in fields such as municipal administration, water conservancy construction, and river dredging for flow measurement.
Product Features
- The measurement results are independent of physical parameters such as flow velocity distribution, fluid pressure, temperature, density, and viscosity.
- Multi-electrode design further ensures measurement accuracy.
- There are no movable parts or blockage parts inside the pipeline, resulting in almost no additional pressure loss during measurement.
- High-definition backlit LCD display, with full Chinese menu operation, is user-friendly, simple to operate, and easy to learn.
- The converter core adopts a high-speed central processor, offering fast computation speed, high precision, and low-frequency rectangular wave excitation, improving the stability of flow measurement and reducing power consumption.
- Full digital signal processing provides strong anti-interference capability, reliable measurement, and high precision.
- Ultra-low EMI switching power supply with a wide range of power supply voltage variations and good EMC resistance.
- Utilizing EEPROM storage, with an internal non-volatile clock, it can record power-off time, ensuring the safety and reliability of measurement operation data storage.
- Bidirectional measurement system capable of measuring forward and reverse flow rates.
- Password lock function: after the flowmeter is powered on, parameters can only be set after entering the password.
- The converter has a self-diagnostic alarm output function and an alarm output for no-load detection.
- Insertion-type structure, simple to install, without the need to cut off the flow. It can be installed by pressing open holes (below 1MPa) on-site, which is economical and suitable for measuring flow in medium and large diameter pipelines.
- Small signal cutoff function: users can set cutoff for small interfering signals through the display panel.
- Automatic zero-point calibration to eliminate zero drift
